In reality charlatan Sandra Lean did not attend sadistic murderer Luke Mitchell’s trial, apparently through fear of being recognised.

For many years Sandra Lean hid behind anonymous social media profiles.

As stated in previous Parts of this blog series, in 2007 she published a now discredited innocence fraud book called No Smoke: The Shocking Truth About British Justice;

In October 2015 Sandra Lean stated;

If you pick and choose points, you can stitch them together to make what looks like a compelling narrative, so long a no-one comes along and ruins the story by pointing out all of the”missed out” bits that make a nonsense of it (sic)

“One Typo” Lie from 2007

The above is what Sandra Lean has been attempting to do since at least 2007.

An excerpt from Sandra Lean’s 1st discredited book No Smoke, from her chapter on Jodi Jones’ guilty killer read;

Several witnesses were identified as having been on the path at the critical time that evening.

In total there were a minimum of five –

John Ferris, Gordon Dickie, his father, David Dickie, Stephen Kelly, a witness who claimed to have heard a disturbance behind the wall, and the “mystery man” seen following Jodi onto the path (sic)

Sandra Lean stated here on the 4th of October 2019;

Eight pages before this paragraph, it says, “others…described a mystery man following Jodi towards the Easthouses entrance to the path.”

On the 4th of October 2019 Sandra Lean also made the following claim here;

The reference to Stephen Kelly is clearly a typo, since the sentence goes on to describe him as “a witness who claimed to have heard a disturbance behind the wall.” (sic)

Sandra Lean disingenuously reaffirmed her “typo” lie again in May 2021 in the comments section of one of her YouTube videos here (Also mentioned in Part 5 here), this time referring to it as “one typo” stating;

The first book was withdrawn to correct one typo where the wrong name was printed in error and to be updated because some of the people whose cases were featured have since died.

This is yet another example of Sandra Lean’s gaslighting and her projections, whereby she attempts to attribute her character traits onto others.

Sandra Lean blatantly lied when she stated;

Steven Kelly’s name was not written and published in “error” as Sandra Lean claimed, because in June 2010 an article was published by Cara Sulieman for deadline news under the header Mitchell’s mum points finger at another man for Jodi killing.

They claim on an internet forum that DNA evidence links the man with the brutal 2003 stabbing

The internet forum referred to by Cara Sulieman was set up and run by un-convicted baby killer and sexual deviant Billy (William) Middleton.

Billy Middleton latched onto the fraudulent public relations spin campaign of the sexually deviant, adolescent child killer of Jodi Jones, not long after he was he was released from custody.

Cara Sulieman’s article included a couple of statements made by Steven Kelly, which were as follows;

Cara Sulieman’s article also included statements made by Sandra Lean and Corinne Mitchell, where they referred to Steven Kelly as X and Mr X;

Luke Mitchell, 22, was convicted of the murder of his 14-year-old girlfriend in 2005.

But his mum recently posted on an internet forum that evidence points to someone else.

She wrote: 

“X’s semen and blood were on Jodi’s T-shirt*…his description and clothing matched a witness statement of a male ‘following Jodi’…he was known to the police.

“Is it me or is anyone else adding things up here?

“Description of man seen behind Jodi – grey hooded top

“Several days after the murder X hands his grey hooded top to the police saying it has been washed

And Sandra Lean, author and researcher on miscarriages of justice, added:

“Our Mr X is emerging as more and more suspicious.

“The info that’s coming our way is shocking, especially as the police should have been onto this stuff right from the beginning.”

NOTE: Steven Kelly’s blood was NOT found on Jodi Jones T-shirt! Sample 10G, referred to in the disclosure material, appears to have been Jodi Jones’ blood. Read more under “Suspects & DNA” here

Sandra Lean and Corinne Mitchell were clearly inferring Steven Kelly was ‘“seen behind Jodi” and that he was the “male following Jodi” wearing a “grey hooded top”, and that “X’s semen and blood were on Jodi’s T-shirt”.

Therefore for Sandra Lean to make the claim she had made “one typo’” – was and is a blatant lie.

Sandra Lean had included the unnamed “witness who claimed to have heard a disturbance behind the wall” in her list of people, along with Steven Kelly, as was evident by the comma used.

Sandra Lean’s point was to attempt to create doubt and suspicion and mislead people to wrongly be suspicious towards Steven Kelly, when there was no suspicion to be had.

In early 2014 Sandra Lean told Stephanie (Hall) she believed Jodi Jones was murdered by Luke Mitchell.

Sandra Lean also said she believed killer Luke Mitchell and his mother Corinne Mitchell appeared to Sandra to have had a similar “twisted reciprocal” type relationship with her killer son as Joan Albert’s killer’s mother appeared to have had with her killer son.

In July 2014 Billy Middleton made a statement on his WAP forum (Reproduced here). Excerpts read;

…anything which depends on access to his paperwork will have to be taken offline in a week’s time roughly

…and if anyone wants to start a topic which isn’t notably said to be backed up by case papers they are perfectly free to do so

This was yet another classic innocence fraud tactic by both un-convicted baby killer and predator Billy Middleton, and his former girlfriend and partner of the WAP org – Sandra Lean.

Billy Middleton removed this material and the WAP forum and website from the World Wide Web in 2014.

Therefore it made it impossible for the people who were duped by the 2021 Innocence fraud TV Show Murder In A Small Town, to see with their own eyes how Sandra Lean’s stories have morphed over the years and how erroneous facts have been manipulated as though they were true.

Steven Kelly was not responsible for sadistic killer Luke Mitchell’s murderous crimes, nor did Steven Kelly lie to the police like killer Luke Mitchell, his mother Corinne and brother Shane Mitchell did.
