On the 19th of May 2023 criminal profiler Pat Brown published a video on YouTube where she gave the impression she would “analyse” charlatan and fraudster Sandra Lean’s second innocence fraud book.

Prior to her second innocence fraud book, scammer Sandra Lean had written her first book, which was published in 2007 by Diggory press Ltd.

Sandra Lean and fraudster and convicted criminal Stephen T Manning (STM) were allegedly taking legal action against Diggory press Ltd.

In 2008 however, when No Smoke was published for the second time, Sandra Lean did not have her bogus PhD.

Sandra Lean’s Web Of Deceit & Preposterous Claims

Below are excerpts from Sandra Lean’s second innocence fraud book Innocents Betrayed, published by her via Amazon in October 2018;

The piles and piles of documents I amassed in my search for answers somehow turned themselves into a book; No Smoke, the Shocking Truth about British Justice, which highlighted seven cases of convic- tions where the evidence either clearly pointed to someone else or was so flimsy that it would not have passed a “slight doubt” test, far less a “beyond reasonable doubt” standard.

Even laying aside questions of guilt or innocence (as they are understood in layman’s terms) in these cases, it would have been clear to a five-year-old child that these convictions were not safe, in the legal context. They had not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, because simply reading through the material raised so many doubts.

Sandra Lean never had “piles and piles of documents” on killer Simon Hall’s case, and it’s doubtful she ever did in any of the other 6 cases she wrote innocence fraud narratives for in her first fraudulent book.

Killer Simon Hall’s actual, factual guilt to his murder and his and his deceptive enablers innocence fraud scam were exposed in 2012/13.

This was 5-6 years before Sandra Lean (self published) her second fraudulent book.

The evidence never, ever “pointed to someone else” having been responsible for dangerous killer Simon Hall’s murder.

And the evidence against him was most certainly NOT “flimsy” as Sandra Lean claimed.

There was, and is no evidence anywhere to suggest killer Simon Hall’s conviction was “unsafe”, and most certainly not in October 2018 when charlatan Sandra Lean made the preposterous claims in her 2nd book.

There is no evidence anywhere to suggest Jodi Jones🌻may have become a “teen mum”.

Evidence suggests Jodi Jones🌻 had had sexual intercourse less that half a dozen times before she was murdered.

Jodi Jones was described as being “very level headed” and also “very strong minded“.

Also, neither of Jodi Jones🌻 siblings became parents in their teens.

There was however a wealth of evidence to suggest sadistic killer and sexually aggressive deviant Luke Mitchell could have become a teen father.

The evidence suggests he may have been having sexual intercourse with several young girls around the same time period leading up to when he committed his murder.

On 19th January 1995 at the Crown Court in Sheffield the applicant Michelle Nicholson (date of birth 21st December 1970) having been convicted by a jury of murder was sentence by His Honour Judge Michael Walker to life imprisonment.

The judge, at the conclusion of a detailed report to the Home Secretary expressed the view that the actual length of detention necessary to meet the requirements of retribution and general deterrence was 15 years.

The facts of the case were as follows.

The deceased Keith Nicholson was the father of the applicant. He was addicted to drugs and alcohol. His son (the applicant’s brother) under the influence of his father had himself abused and become addicted to drugs.

The trial judge was of the view that the motive for the murder was a desire by the applicant to remove the deceased as a bad influence on his son.

The applicant initiated the idea of killing her father.

She recruited her co-defendant Smethurst who co-operated in the planning of the offence and in the killing itself. At the time of these events he was infatuated with her.

4. In accordance with the plan made by the two defendants, they drove the victim to the North Yorkshire moors, knocked him unconscious with a pickaxe handle, and set him alight with petrol.

The applicant’s defence was that, despite her admitted presence at the time of the offence, she took no part in it, and/or was suffering from acute stress disorder. The partial defences of diminished responsibility and provocation were relied upon.

The jury rejected these defences.

7. An undoubted aggravating factor (paragraph 10) was the degree of premeditation involved in the offence.

Several witnesses were identified as having been on the path at the critical time that evening.

In total there were a minimum of five –

John Ferris, Gordon Dickie, his father, David Dickie, Stephen Kelly, a witness who claimed to have heard a disturbance behind the wall, and the “mystery man” seen following Jodi onto the path (sic)

Steven Kelly’s name was not written and published in “error” as Sandra Lean claimed, because in June 2010 an article was published by Cara Sulieman for deadline news under the header Mitchell’s mum points finger at another man for Jodi killing.

The internet forum referred to by Cara Sulieman was set up and run by un-convicted baby killer and sexual deviant Billy (William) Middleton.

Billy Middleton latched onto the fraudulent public relations spin campaign of the sexually deviant, adolescent child killer of Jodi Jones, not long after he was he was released from custody.

Cara Sulieman’s article also included statements made by Sandra Lean and Corinne Mitchell, where they referred to Steven Kelly as X and Mr X;

Luke Mitchell, 22, was convicted of the murder of his 14-year-old girlfriend in 2005.

But his mum recently posted on an internet forum that evidence points to someone else.

She wrote: 

“X’s semen and blood were on Jodi’s T-shirt*…his description and clothing matched a witness statement of a male ‘following Jodi’…he was known to the police.

“Is it me or is anyone else adding things up here?

“Description of man seen behind Jodi – grey hooded top

“Several days after the murder X hands his grey hooded top to the police saying it has been washed

And Sandra Lean, author and researcher on miscarriages of justice, added:

“Our Mr X is emerging as more and more suspicious.

“The info that’s coming our way is shocking, especially as the police should have been onto this stuff right from the beginning.”

NOTE: Steven Kelly’s blood was NOT found on Jodi Jones T-shirt! Sample 10G, referred to in the disclosure material, appears to have been Jodi Jones’ blood. Read more under “Suspects & DNA” here

Sandra Lean and Corinne Mitchell were clearly inferring Steven Kelly was ‘“seen behind Jodi” and that he was the “male following Jodi” wearing a “grey hooded top”, and that “X’s semen and blood were on Jodi’s T-shirt”.

Therefore for Sandra Lean to make the claim she had made “one typo’” – was and is a blatant lie.

Sandra Lean had included the unnamed “witness who claimed to have heard a disturbance behind the wall” in her list of people, along with Steven Kelly, as was evident by the comma used.

Sandra Lean’s point was to attempt to create doubt and suspicion and mislead people to wrongly be suspicious towards Steven Kelly, when there was no suspicion to be had.

In early 2014 Sandra Lean told Stephanie (Hall) she believed Jodi Jones was murdered by Luke Mitchell.

Sandra Lean also said she believed killer Luke Mitchell and his mother Corinne Mitchell appeared to Sandra to have had a similar “twisted reciprocal” type relationship with her killer son as Joan Albert’s killer’s mother appeared to have had with her killer son.

In July 2014 Billy Middleton made a statement on his WAP forum (Reproduced here). Excerpts read;

…anything which depends on access to his paperwork will have to be taken offline in a week’s time roughly

…and if anyone wants to start a topic which isn’t notably said to be backed up by case papers they are perfectly free to do so

This was yet another classic innocence fraud tactic by both un-convicted baby killer and predator Billy Middleton, and his former girlfriend and partner of the WAP org – Sandra Lean.

Billy Middleton removed this material and the WAP forum and website from the World Wide Web in 2014.

Therefore it made it impossible for the people who were duped by the 2021 Innocence fraud TV Show Murder In A Small Town, to see with their own eyes how Sandra Lean’s stories have morphed over the years and how erroneous facts have been manipulated as though they were true.
