On the 5th of September 2022 Matthew (Matt) Elliott made the following Facebook post;
The following month, on the 20th October, Donna and Matthew Elliott appeared in a video on Facebook alongside two former members, and one current member, of the cult-like Facebook group supporting sadistic and psychopathic murderer Luke Mitchell.
The point of the video appears to have been to critique episode 2 of the BBC Scotland TV show The Trials that shocked Scotland and in particular Jane Hamilton – who is mentioned in Part 176 of this blog series, which can be read by tapping on the button below;
During their Facebook video Matthew Elliott made the false claim that Jane Hamilton “professes to know absolutely everything about this case”..
Matthew Elliott might want to remind himself of the statement made by scammer Sandra Lean during the May 2019 video with James English where Sandra stated;
The reason I put the book out is if I were forced to give up so if anything happened to me I don’t think there’s anybody else in Scotland got the level of knowledge of the case that I’ve got and the idea was put everything in there and then if anybody else wants to come along and take over the informations there

During the same video Donna who was referred to as a “group expert” whinged about the “misinformation” in the public domain about sadistic murderer Luke Mitchell.
Fast forward around a year and Donna and Matthew Elliott appear to have contacted innocence fraud pusher Bob Ruff, who went on to claim Donna and Matthew had helped him with their “research”.
It was during this podcast that Donna seemingly cottoned on to the fact trial transcripts are available to the public, contrary to the impression given by scammer Sandra Lean.
Someone called Heather posted this link to Bob Ruff’s 29th of September 2023 facebook post to his part 4;
It appears this may be where Donna first learned about trial transcripts.
