14th August 2003 ~ “Yes, I can verify that my mother and my brother had a fire”
During his section 14 interview on 14th August 2003, sadistic murderer Luke Mitchell told the police his mother Corinne and his brother Shane Mitchell had a fire in their garden on the evening he committed his murder.

Less than 3 weeks later the murderer gave a Sky News interview to James Matthews, on the very day that Jodi Jones was laid to rest, pretending he knew nothing about his fires.

Murderer Luke Mitchell: No. The burning clothes that wasn’t us. They just stated that a female relative of the suspect admitted to burning clothes

The murderers trousers, hidden in the hold-all, were found by police in the Mitchell’s house in Newbattle abbey crescent, Mayfield – not in his father Philip’s house in Livingston.

Motivations For Stalking
According to Stalkers And Their Victims (here) research byPaul E. Mullen, Michele Pathé and Rosemary Purcell say that the “resentful” stalkers stalking “is designed to inflict fear and distress”.

The ‘Stalking Risk Profile’ – developed by Mullan et al of Melbourne University – assists investigators and prosecutors in understanding stalking behaviour and risk. This profile divides stalkers into five types and considers the context in which the stalking arises and the stalker’s motivation for contacting the victim:
The Rejected Stalker – Rejected stalking arises in the context of the breakdown of a close relationship. Victims are usually former sexual intimates; however, family members, close friends, or others with a very close relationship to the stalker can also become targets of Rejected stalking
The Resentful stalker – Resentful stalking arises when the stalker feels as though they have been mistreated or that they are the victim of some form of injustice or humiliation. Victims are strangers or acquaintances who are seen to have mistreated the stalker.
The Intimacy Seeking stalker – Intimacy seeking stalking arises out of a context of loneliness and a lack of a close confidante. Victims are usually strangers or acquaintances who become the target of the stalker’s desire for a relationship. Frequently Intimacy Seeking stalkers’ behaviour involves delusional beliefs about the victim, such as the belief that they are already in a relationship, even though none exists.
The Incompetent Suitor – The Incompetent suitor stalks in the context of loneliness or lust and targets strangers or acquaintances. Unlike the Intimacy Seeker, however, their initial motivation is not to establish a loving relationship, but to get a date or a short term sexual relationship. Incompetent Suitors usually stalk for brief periods, but when they do persist, their behaviour is usually maintained by the fact that they are blind or indifferent to the distress of the victim.
The Predatory Stalker – Predatory stalking arises in the context of deviant sexual practices and interests. Perpetrators are usually male and victims are usually female strangers in whom the stalker develops a sexual interest. The stalking behaviour is usually initiated as a way of obtaining sexual gratification (e.g., voyeurism targeting a single victim over time), but can also be used as a way of obtaining information about the victim as a precursor to a sexual assault, the most dangerous leading to serious attack.

During the trial testimony of Corinne Mitchell, it became clear that Philip Mitchell appeared/appears to be the person who bought his killer son Luke Mitchell the knife which he committed his murder with.

Alan Turnbull: Okay. Go to page 175 for me please. Because page 175 of the transcript it is actually you that is talking to the police, you see that don’t you?
Corinne Mitchell: Yes
Alan Turnbull: And want you said, amongst other things, is that “He knows…” I think that’s a reference to your former husband. “He knows I absolutely detest and hate knives” Is that right?
Corinne Mitchell: That’s right
Alan Turnbull: And you’ve explained, “I got annoyed anytime he gave Luke anything like that. I got very annoyed”

Alan Turnbull: I think we’re probably looking at different bits. The bit I’m looking at is three or four bits down, it’s got mother beside it

On the 5th of September 2022 Matthew (Matt) Elliott made the following Facebook post;
The following month, on the 20th October, Donna and Matthew Elliott appeared in a video on Facebook alongside two former members, and one current member, of the cult-like Facebook group supporting sadistic and psychopathic murderer Luke Mitchell.
The point of the video appears to have been to critique episode 2 of the BBC Scotland TV show The Trials that shocked Scotland and in particular Jane Hamilton – who is mentioned in Part 176 of this blog series, which can be read by tapping on the button below;
During their Facebook video Matthew Elliott made the false claim that Jane Hamilton “professes to know absolutely everything about this case”..
Matthew Elliott might want to remind himself of the statement made by scammer Sandra Lean during the May 2019 video with James English where Sandra stated;
The reason I put the book out is if I were forced to give up so if anything happened to me I don’t think there’s anybody else in Scotland got the level of knowledge of the case that I’ve got and the idea was put everything in there and then if anybody else wants to come along and take over the informations there

During the same video Donna who was referred to as a “group expert” whinged about the “misinformation” in the public domain about sadistic murderer Luke Mitchell.
Fast forward around a year and Donna and Matthew Elliott appear to have contacted innocence fraud pusher Bob Ruff, who went on to claim Donna and Matthew had helped him with their “research”.
It was during this podcast that Donna seemingly cottoned on to the fact trial transcripts are available to the public, contrary to the impression given by scammer Sandra Lean.

Below are some of the tweets made by Donna since she learned she had been lied to by scammers Sandra Lean and Scott Forbes and fed misinformation and disinformation and bare faced lies;
Dr Sandra Lean said "We have probably about 80% of the transcripts"
It has also been said that the transcripts wouldn't take the case forward.
But how could she be certain that there was nothing in the remaining 20% that might help Luke's case?
Why do we criticise the press and tabloids for being unreliable sources for facts, but at the same time willingly attach unquestioning trust to second-hand information provided by one individual?
There should never have been any drama about transcripts – I only let people know they were available. Dr Sandra Lean didn't have to then publicly tell people they weren't available, when they are. If highlighting facts is considered drama, something isn't quite right there…
It's been stated by Mr Forbes and his followers that these details are trivial – actually, I'm finding that some of the fundamental points that convinced me of the guilt of others, weren't even true. That's not trivial, by any means.
You couldn't be further from the truth. We have dedicated years to this campaign. We fought for justice for Luke based on specific facts we weee told – we absolutely have the right to speak out about the fact some of them weren't correct.

The police found the trousers hidden in a hold-all in killer Luke Mitchell’s home on the 4th July 2003.

Why Didn’t The Court Of Appeal Judges Specify The Exact Dates Killer Luke Mitchell Visited His Father Philip Mitchell
The 2011 court of appeal judgement also gave the impression that killer Luke Mitchell would stay at his father Philip Mitchell’s house in the lead up to his murder.
His parents separated when he was 11 years old.
He lived with his mother and his older brother, and spent time with his father at weekends.

However paragraph 6 of the 16th May 2008 court of appeal judgement headed Relationship between the deceased and the appellant stated;
[6] The appellant and the deceased both attended St David’s High School in Dalkeith.
They began a relationship in around March 2003. From an early stage that relationship involved sexual intercourse.
By June 2003 they were seeing each other most week nights, and at the weekend.
According to scammer Sandra Lean in her second innocence fraud book she stated;
The portrayal of Jodi at trial was one dimensional and restricted to the few months, prior to her death, that she had been seeing Luke.

What dates exactly was Sandra Lean referring to when she stated “There was nothing to clarify what Jodi did on the weekends when Luke was at his dad’s..” ?

Also according to Sandra Lean;
..the only “evidence” found was a single DNA profile for Jodi from a tiny sample on a pair of trousers not worn on the day of the murder – it could not even be ascertained how old the sample was

According to Scott Forbes, killer Luke Mitchell’s trousers were hidden in a holdall with Jodi Jones🌻 DNA on them at his father Philip Mitchell’s house.
This was and is a yet another bare faced lie!
Scott Forbes stated;
Jodi Jones’ DNA was found on a pair of trousers belonging to Luke Mitchell.
The trousers were in a holdall at his father’s house in Livingston, a home he hadn’t been to for at least a fortnight prior to the murder of Jodi.
The evidence was, therefore, deemed irrelevant and agreed to be dismissed.

Excerpts from a BBC article, reporting on the killers 2004 trial stated;
Jodi’s DNA was found on the accussed’s trousers but this could have occurred through an “innocent transfer”.
Tayside Police forensic scientist Susan Ure spoke about the work carried out comparing bloodstains found at the murder scene and other reference samples, taken from members of her family and Luke Mitchell.
DNA from Steven Kelly, the fiancé of Jodi’s sister, Janine, showed up on the t-shirt Jodi was wearing. But the trial has heard that the t-shirt actually belonged to Janine.
It was also explained about the ways in which DNA could be transferred, for example, between strangers sitting close on a train.
Donald Findlay QC, defending Luke Mitchell, suggested to Ms Ure that DNA could be found in a completely “sinister place but have a wholly innocent explanation” to which she agreed.
Mr Findlay said the court had heard in some detail of Jodi and Luke’s relationship and added: “Boyfriend, girlfriend, being intimate with each other.
“Looking at that picture, in all the DNA analyses you carried out one, and only one, bit of Jodi’s DNA was found on Luke’s trousers and that could be a perfectly innocent transfer.”

That left the prosecution free to roll out all and any DNA evidence they had to prove their case, but they failed to do so.

A media article byNick Pisa headed Pro-Knox woman ‘told prosecutor he is evil’ was published in 2011 and stated some of the following;
A supporter of Amanda Knox has been questioned by police after shouting: “You are evil,” at one of the main prosecutors in the American student’s appeal case.
Michelle Moore sought out Giuliano Mignini during a break in court proceedings in Perugia, Italy, where Knox, 24, and her ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 25, are appealing against conviction for the 2007 murder of British student Meredith Kercher.
Witnesses said Mrs Moore marched over to Mr Mignini and shouted: “You are evil, you have no conscience.” Others said she told him: “You have no heart.”
A shocked Mr Mignini asked police to identify her after the outburst.
She was asked to show her US passport and provide officers with her details.
She was then taken away but was not arrested.
A file on the case will now be sent to prosecutors who will decide if there is enough evidence to proceed to a full charge of offending an official of the court, which carries a maximum sentence of three years in jail.
It happened yesterday, the same day as a lawyer for bar owner Patrick Lumumba, wrongly identified by Knox as the killer, had described her as a “diabolical, demonic, Satanic, she Devil”.
Today Mrs Moore, one of the most vociferous pro-Knox campaigners, was not in court as the case resumed with Sollecito’s lawyers starting their summing up.
However, her husband Steve, a former FBI agent said: “She didn’t mean to show any disrespect to the court.”
He said the outburst had come about because she was angry over pictures of Miss Kercher’s mutilated body during an earlier hearing.
“We have a daughter the same age and someone tried to strangle my wife when she was 20, so it was a reaction to all that, she was just shocked,” he said.
“She thought it was Mignini who had shown the photographs – she just got a bit emotional.”

It is not know how much of the podcast Michelle Moore listened to, or if she has ever bothered to carry out any due diligence.
However her published comments suggest Michelle Moore does not have a basic grasp of the facts of the case against the murderer.
In reality the Marilyn Manson CD and bonus DVD was “notforsaletoanyoneunder15” and was purchased by the murderer for £11.99 from a Sainsbury’s supermarket two days after he had committed his murder – when he was still 14 years of age!
What is ‘“disturbing” is it appears Michelle Moore is projecting and it is her “who cannot possibly care about truth” by choosing to promote her deluded lies and nonsense.
