Killer Karen Read Trial: Kevin From Yellow Cottage Tales & His Posturing & Misinformation

On the 25th of May 2024 Kevin Lenihan from Yellow Cottage Tales posted a tweet on X (here) which read in part;

No third-party-culprit theory can explain Karen’s bizarre actions that morning.

Before 5 AM, she called Kerry and said “John’s dead”, then hung up.

Kerry Roberts was sleeping and did not hear Karen Read’s first call and therefore missed it.

Kerry Roberts’ evidence was that Karen Read called her a second time at “5 on the dot” and Karen stated “John’s dead… Kerry Kerry Kerry” – then Karen hung up.

Kevin Lenihan then stated;

A minute later she called back and worried he was “hit by a plow”.

The available evidence suggests that Karen Read did not call Kerry Roberts back “a minute later”, but at sometime after Karen pulled out of John O’Keefe’s driveway, which Karen did at around 5:08am.

Kerry Roberts stated, regarding the third call she received from Karen Read, that Karen had said in part;

I’m afraid John might be dead, he might have gotten’ hit by a plough, he did not come home last night.

I was not supposed to stay in Canton last night and he would never leave Kayley alone, I think something happened

Karen Read appears to have made her third call to Kerry Roberts at 5:16am.

Karen Read also told Kerry Roberts that she had checked Kayley’s phone to see if John O’Keefe had called Kayley and in response Kerry had asked;

Where are you now

To which Karen Read apparently replied;

I’m driving, can I come to your house, will you drive my car

Kevin Lenihan also stated;

At 5 AM, when she called Jen, Karen talked about the broken taillight

Karen Read (or John O’Keefe’s niece) called Jennifer McCabe at 5:05am.

Kerry Roberts evidence was also that she said to Karen Read;

You need to go home and be with Kayley if she’s there by herself

I’ll go look for him…
