Convicted Rapist & Passport Fraudster Andrew Malkinson Described As A Sexual Predator & A Danger To Women (Part 2)

As already stated in Part 1 of this blog series on convicted rapist Andrew Malkinson, judge Michael Henshell described him as a “sexual predator” and a danger to women.

Andrew Malkinson was told by judge Henshell that he “would be eligible for parole after 14 years and would serve a minimum of seven years” – this was to include the nine months he had already served in custody on remand prior to his February 2004 trial.

Instead of 14 years however, he would end up spending an extra 3 years over his initial 14 year sentence, spending a total of around 17 years in prison.

According to Edward Henry, the reason this sexual predator and rapist spent so long in prison was because he (Malkinson) “rejected parole”;

Mr Malkinson had a choice: he could sacrifice his reputation, or his life to save or at least try to salvage his name. He resolutely denied being a rapist, rejected parole, serving 17 yrs, suffering unimaginably in consequence. He is an honourable man, & deserves to be vindicated https://t.co/wVlhqQNFvi

suffer from this appalling injustice. To serve long years, as he did, rejecting the prospect of parole, so no one could accuse him of admitting he had committed the offence took stoical courage of an extraordinarily high order.

But according to Andrew Malkinson and APPEAL here;

..he was eligible for to be released on licence a decade sooner, but my release was delayed because he continued to protest his innocence (sic)

No mention of having ‘rejected parole’.

Many convicted criminals in the UK however, have claimed they were “innocent” throughout their time in prison and still the parole board have granted their release from prison.

One example of this is the killer of Paula Gilfoyle and her unborn baby – her husband Eddie Gilfoyle.

It is not known what the exact reasons given by the parole board as to why Andrew Malkinson wasn’t released after the 14 years set by the trial judge Michael Henshell.
