Judith Jones 10:20pm Text To Her Beloved ‘Toad’
Judith Jones texted killer Luke Mitchell at 10:20pm on the fateful night of the 30th June 2003.
Judith’s youngest child Jodi (14) was twenty minutes late home.
The Scottish Herald reported on Judith Jones evidence regarding her 10:20pm text message during the killers 2004/05 trial and stated;
At 10.20pm, she texted a message to Mr Mitchell’s phone, because Jodi’s was broken:
”Right Toad (Jodi’s nickname), that’s you grounded for another three weeks” it said.
A minute later, Mr Mitchell called back.
Mrs Jones said:
”He said he hadn’t seen Jodi all night. I said:
What do you mean you haven’t seen her?
She was with you?’
If I recollect, I just put the phone down. There was something really wrong”
She called Mr Mitchell back and told him:
“I just want the truth.
If she is with you, I don’t care.
I just want to know.
He said: I haven’t seen her”
Mrs Jones began phoning friends and later she called the police. Jodi’s body was found later that night.

Lazy Reporting/Jounalism
While giving his 22 page witness statement at Dalkeith police station (with his mother Corinne Mitchell sat next to him) killer and liar Luke Mitchell told the police he received Judith Jones 10:20pm text message – twenty minutes later than when he actually received it.
During the killers trial for his murder, detective constable (DC) Alan Towers, who the killer spoke to at Dalkeith police station on the 1st July 2003, read out his 22 page witness statement.
DC Towers told the jury that the killer had said he had received “a text message to his mobile from Jodi’s mother at 10.41pm the previous night” (Source here)
The killer however made up the 10:41pm time of Judith Jones 10:20pm text message and this would then be repeated by numerous other reporters and mainstream media (MSM) outlets as though it were fact.

Court Of Appeal Judgment Made Fundamental Errors
The “freely available” appeal judgement also made a fundamental error regarding Judith Jones 10:20pm text message.
It is not unusual for appeal judgements to contain fundamental errors like this, especially around timings.
The appeal judgement in R v SIMON JOHN HALL also included a fundamental error regarding timings, as per the below screen shot;
It takes around 14 minutes to drive this distance (See below) NOT “5 minutes” as stated in the appeal judgement!
In nearly 20 years killer Luke Mitchell and charlatan Sandra Lean have not been able to prove Judith Jones text message to her daughter Jodi Jones (sent to killer Luke Mitchell’s Phone) was not sent at 10:20pm .
NOTE: The court of appeal judgement also wrongly stated that Jodi Jones had lived with her sister Janine Jones.
In reality – Jodi Jones has lived with her mother Judith Jones, step-father Allen Ovans and brother Joseph. Sister Janine Jones lived with her grandmother Alice Walker.
